About Leeds Bradford Airport

Leeds Bradford Airport has one terminal that transports 4 million passengers to 70 direct destinations and hundreds more worldwide using connecting flights. It’s Yorkshire’s largest airport and prides itself on providing excellent customer service.

Here’s everything you need to know about the terminal at Leeds Bradford

Terminal 1

Terminal 1 at Leeds Bradford Airport has 55 check-in desks split between two halls on the ground floor. There are ten gates which can be found on both floors. Gates one to five are on the first floor, and gates six to ten are on the ground floor. If you are still determining your check-in desk or gate, you can ask one of the airport attendants. The information desks are located within the check-in halls and can assist you.

Ryanair and Easy-Jet passengers must check-in online or use the mobile app and head to the self-bag drop-off area, as these airlines have no check-in desks.

The arrivals hall is located on the ground floor, where you will find a Café, Ritazza, WHSmith, Travelex Currency Exchange, and car hire desks. From here, you can walk straight and turn right to your nearest exit/entrance.

We’d recommend giving yourself plenty of time to check-in before a flight. Leeds Bradford Airport recommends arriving two to three hours before your flight to provide sufficient time to check in and be processed through security.

Once you arrive at the airport, check the information screens to determine your required check-in desks. It is also important to remember that some airlines will only allow you to check-in at a specific time. Airlines such as Ryanair and Easy-Jet require you to check in online as they don’t have check-in desks at the airport.

  • Express Check-in

Leeds Bradford Airport takes the safety of customers and all personnel very seriously. For the benefit of all passengers’ security, departing passengers are required to be screened using security scanning equipment.
